Pupil Council

Your voice counts

Cathkin High School prides itself on the quality of its inclusion of pupil voice in the decision making process. The Pupil Council forms a key part of this inclusion. Representatives from every year group attend monthly meetings to discuss issues raised in their classes and year groups. These issues and concerns are then taken to the SMT for consideration and discussion. We feel that this is integral to how Cathkin High School progresses and takes on board the views of our pupils. Over the past two years the Pupil Council have addressed the following issues: pupil toilets, registration, assemblies, LGBT issues, senior school study leave, lunch queues and congestion.
